What is the use of scientific research if we don’t communicate it to the wider audience? ENIGMA puts a lot of importance on science communication, so we started right away with a cool Outreach event the European Researchers Night. The event, called ‘Sharper – One hour with the Researcher’ meant that we went to an Italian high school and did a 1 hour interactive lecture for about 100 students. The presentation called ‘The Secrets in Our Skeleton’ was centred on discussing with young students the wealth of information that is stored in our bones and teeth. The students were actively participating and we had some great discussions and questions afterwards. Looking forward to the next occasion!
