As they say, all ways lead to Rome, so we packed our bags and went. The researchers from the MOTHERS project, led by Dr Alessi Nava, are part of the ENIGMA team and we’ll be planning many research visits in the upcoming years. During the visit we worked on the first ENIGMA research paper on Virtual Dental histology, had a tour of the new lab, discussed long-term research projects and got to know the team. An important component of the ENIGMA project will be focusing on using conventional histology with virtual histology. Alessia has a fantastic new set-up where the ENIGMA project will be able to work on conventional histology. More to come soon, but an excellent first visit to the Eternal City
